Terms of Service

Elite Anesthesia provides anesthesia services inside the offices of medical and dental practices. We contract with those practices to bring board-certified anesthesia providers, monitoring equipment and medications to their location.

We are not your dentist, surgeon or treating physician. We do not diagnose or treat the condition you are being seen for; we provide the anesthesia care that accompanies it. Your treating practice remains responsible for the procedure itself.

Everything on this site describes our services in general terms. It is not medical advice, it does not create a clinician–patient relationship, and you should not rely on it to decide anything about your care or delay seeking advice from a qualified professional.

Whether anesthesia is appropriate for you is decided case by case, through the pre-anesthesia review and by the provider on the day. Nothing here is a promise of a particular treatment, outcome or level of sedation.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use this website or the payment portal to report a medical concern; they are not monitored for urgent clinical issues.

Anesthesia is billed on the care actually delivered. Case length varies for reasons nobody can predict precisely in advance, so where we give a figure before a procedure it is an estimate, not a quote, and the final amount may differ from it.

Where a card is authorised ahead of a case, the authorisation may be held for more than the estimate to allow for that variation. An authorisation is not a charge. We capture only the amount actually owed once the case is complete, and the unused portion of the hold is released by your bank on its own schedule, typically within a few business days.

Where insurance is involved, the amount you owe may change after your plan processes the claim. A balance shown before that point is provisional.

Card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor. Elite Anesthesia does not store full card numbers or bank credentials on its own systems.

Refunds of an overpayment are returned to the original payment method. If you think an amount is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank — we can almost always resolve a billing question faster than a chargeback can, and a dispute freezes the account while it runs.

You are responsible for keeping any payment link or statement we send to you private. A link is addressed to a specific account.

Anesthesia is scheduled through your treating practice, and their scheduling and cancellation policies apply to your appointment. Where a case is cancelled with short notice, a fee may apply under our agreement with that practice.

Pre-anesthesia instructions — fasting in particular — exist for your safety. A case may be postponed if they have not been followed.

We may contact you by phone, email or text about your care: appointment reminders, pre-anesthesia forms, clearance follow-ups and payment links. Text messaging is covered by our SMS Terms, including how to stop messages at any time. We do not send marketing texts.

How we collect, use and protect personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

As a healthcare provider, our handling of protected health information is governed by HIPAA and applicable state law in addition to that policy. Where those obligations and these terms differ, those obligations govern.

You agree not to:

• access, or try to access, an account or record that is not yours;
• probe, scan or interfere with the operation or security of the site or portal;
• use automated means to collect information about our patients or staff;
• submit anything unlawful, or anyone else's information without their permission;
• use the site or portal to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may suspend or withdraw access where we reasonably believe any of the above has happened.

The text, images, design and branding on this site belong to Elite Anesthesia or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. Copying the content for a competing or commercial purpose, or presenting it as your own, is not permitted.

Parts of this site and the payment portal rely on third parties — payment processing, scheduling, analytics and messaging among them. We choose them carefully and bind them where the law requires it, but we do not control their systems.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

We aim to keep this site and the payment portal available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Either may be unavailable for maintenance, or for reasons outside our control. If the portal is unavailable when you need to pay, call us and we will take payment another way.

Except where the law does not allow it to be excluded, this website and the payment portal are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current or error free.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for the anesthesia care we actually provide. This section is about the website and the portal, not about clinical care.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and again excepting the clinical care we provide, Elite Anesthesia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or the payment portal, and our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to the amount you paid us in connection with the matter giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only so far as that jurisdiction permits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website or the payment portal will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the effective date above will change when it does. Continuing to use the site or the portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
